Kalil Sandra

Sandra Kalil Bussadori holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Santo Amaro (UNISA) (1988), Specialization in Pediatric Dentistry from UNISA (1992), a Master’s Degree in Dentistry (Dental Materials) from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (1997), a PhD in Dental Sciences from USP (2001) and Post-Doctorate in Pediatrics at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Currently, she is a professor of the Masters, Doctorate and Post-Doctoral Programs in Biophotonics Applied to Health Sciences and in Rehabilitation Sciences at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). She is also a professor at Universidade Metropolitana de Santos (UNIMES) and coordinates several Specialization in Pediatric Dentistry courses. She is the vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Pediatric Dentistry and Scientific Director of the Paulista Association of Pediatric Dentistry. She has experience in the area of Photobiomodulation and Antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy, rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system in children and adolescents through controlled clinical trials with an emphasis on halitosis, caries disease, temporomandibular disorders, occlusal contacts, bruxism and posture.
