Title: Photo biomodulation as a tool to be combined to improve Radiotherapy and Chronic Diseases.
Photobiomodulation – PBM, is a technique that has grown in followers and understanding. Acting directly on metabolism and promoting direct action or signaling for other processes, the combination of PBM with other techniques can represent a synergistic gain of great importance. In this presentation we show how a tumor can be prepared with PBM to have a better response to Radio Therapy and also how PMB is combined with ultrasound, negative pressure and mechanical massage to improve the state of pain and quality of life of patients with Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, and others. Discussion of fundamental and practical aspects will be considered. The application for PBM for oncology combined with Photodynamic will also be discussed.
Title: From the mouth and nose to the lungs: treating resistant to antibiotic infection with photonic techniques.
Nowadays, for any of the actions in the area of health, including dentistry in a remarkable way, the treatment of infections caused by bacteria resistant to antibiotics, including those of the respiratory tract, are preponderant. In this presentation we will discuss new techniques that should allow the breakdown of bacterial resistance using light oxidative stress as well as applications for the treatment of antibiotic resistant infections of the entire respiratory and digestive tract.
