Privacy Policy

§ 1

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. Personal Data Administrator.

The Administrator of collected Personal Data is the Polish Society of Laser Dentistry with its place of business and correspondence address at ul. Domki 10, 31-519 Kraków KRS: 0000538606 NIP: 6772383814, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator.

The Administrator takes special care to ensure the protection of the interests of the data subjects, and in particular ensures that the data collected by the Administrator is processed following the law, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of Personal Data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”; collected for specified, lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing inconsistent with these purposes; factually correct and adequate concerning the purposes for which they are processed and stored in a form that allows the identification of persons to whom they relate, no longer than it is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

§ 2

TYPE OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA, SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION

  1. Type of Personal Data processed.

The Administrator processes the following categories of Participant’s Personal Data:

Name, surname, academic title/profession, e-mail address, telephone number, country of origin, invoice details (NIP, address)

2. Scope of processed Personal Data.

Concerning the organization of the Conference, we process the Personal Data of the Participants contained in the registration form and the data about the presence at the Conference. In addition, depending on individual needs, we process data: required by law, e.g. tax law, accounting; data contained in applications, complaints, and other submissions of Participants to us.

3. Purposes of Personal Data processing.

Personal Data is processed for the purpose of registration, providing access to the Conference, sending Notifications regarding the Conference, documenting the course of the Conference; any other administrative matters required for the proper organization and conduct of the Conference; and

the safety of its Participants, Speakers, and Staff. In addition, the data is processed for analytical and statistical purposes – to constantly improve the quality of services provided and adapt their functionality to your needs.

§ 3

PERIOD OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Participant’s Personal Data is processed (stored) for the following periods:

– for the duration of the training contract, and after its completion for the period of limitation of claims under the contract or other titles,

– until the data storage obligations resulting from legal provisions, e.g. tax regulations, expire,

– to the extent that the basis for the processing of Personal Data is your consent – until its withdrawal or for the period for which it was granted.

§ 4

NOTICE OF PARTICIPANT’S RIGHTS

  1. You have the following rights concerning the processing of your Personal Data by us:

– the right to access Personal Data,

– the right to request rectification of Personal Data,

– the right to request the deletion of Personal Data,

– the right to request the restriction of the processing of Personal Data,

– the right to object to the processing of Personal Data – to the extent that these data are processed due to the legitimate interest of the Administrator, in particular, you have the right to object to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes,

– the right to withdraw, at any time, the consent is given to the processing of your Personal Data by us, provided that the basis for the processing of such data is your consent, and the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing which was carried out based on consent before its withdrawal; to withdraw consent, please contact us by e-mail at the address biuro@ptsl.com.pl

– the right to request the transfer of your data to the indicated Administrator, i.e. the right to receive your Personal Data held by us from the Administrator, in a structured, commonly used electronic format,

– the right to complain to the supervisory body dealing with the protection of Personal Data, i.e. to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

In the event of the user having a request resulting from the above rights, the Administrator fulfills the request or refuses to comply with it immediately, but not later than within one month after receiving it. However, if – due to the complexity of the request or the number of requests – the Administrator will not be able to meet the request within one month, it will meet them within the next two months, informing the user in advance within one month of receiving the request – about the intended extension of the deadline and its reasons.

§ 5

SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Participant’s Personal Data will not be processed in an automated manner, including profiling, and will not be transferred outside of the European Economic Area. The Personal Data of the Participants are provided to service providers used by the Administrator when running the website. Service providers to whom Personal Data are transferred, depending on contractual arrangements and circumstances, or are subject to the Administrator’s instructions as to the purposes and methods of data processing, or (Processors) or independently define the purposes and methods of their processing (Administrators).

§ 6

“COOKIE” FILES

  1. The Administrator’s website uses “cookies”.
  2. The installation of “cookies” is necessary for the proper provision of services on the website. “Cookies” contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the website, and they also give the opportunity to develop general statistics of website visits.
  3. As part of the website, the typose of “cookies” used are permanent. “Permanent” “Cookies” are stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the parameters of “cookies” or until they are deleted by the user.
  4. The Administrator uses its own cookies in order to better understand how the user interacts with the content of the website. The files collect information about how the user uses the website, the type of page from which the user was redirected and the number of visits, and the time of the user’s visit to the website. This information does not record specific personal data of the user but is used to compile statistics on the use of the website.
  5. The user has the right to decide on the access of “cookies” to his computer by selecting them in advance in the browser window. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling “cookies” are available in the software (web browser) settings.

FINAL PROVISIONS

In matters not covered by this Privacy Policy, the relevant provisions of generally applicable law shall apply.
